Veg*Pledge 2008

Pledge to go vegetarian/vegan for a full week, and we'll supply you with free food each evening. For those who are already vegan, please check with me (we can use help with certain things - cooking, setting up, cleaning-up). The goal is to get non-vegetarian/vegans to explore something new.

If you vegetarian, go vegan. If you're neither, go either.

To sign up, drop an email to: cvs @ studentorg.wisc.edu, and please include whether you are pledging vegan or vegetarian.

Dates and dinner menus:
Sun, Apr 20 - breakfast bonanza (tofu scramble, oven roasted potatoes, and smoothies)
Mon, Apr 21 - falafel feast (falafel, hummus, veggie dip, chips, and veggies)
Tues, Apr 22 - build your own burrito
Wed, Apr 23 - soup and sandwich (minestrone soup with vegan grilled cheese sandwiches)
Thur, Apr 24 - seitan sandwiches (sizzled seitan served with onions, peppers & vegan cheesy sauce)
Fri, Apr 25 - calzones and pizza (easy wheat calzones and donated vegan pizzas along with salad)
Sat, Apr 26 - rice noodle pad thai (peanut buttery pad thai with special dessert)
